Job Description

The Senior Nursing Clinician plays a pivotal role in leading ward nurses, ensuring that patient care requirements are met.

  • They oversee daily ward nursing duties and provide guidance on patient care protocols.
  • Additionally, they schedule and assign nursing staff, monitor work results, and enforce established standards.
  • In this capacity, the Senior Nursing Clinician also manages incident tracking for trend analysis and provides guidance on incident management.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned by the Director of Nursing/DON.

  • Leading and guiding ward nurses to achieve high-quality patient care outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:
