Job Title: Data Science Expert for E-commerce Growth

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to develop and implement algorithms that drive e-commerce growth and marketing efforts.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning, experience with big data tools, and excellent coding skills. Responsibilities include:

  • Optimizing e-commerce growth and marketing algorithms to improve user value modeling, personalized messaging, recommendations, and intelligent marketing.
  • Establishing a user lifecycle data and value system to address core pain points and business challenges related to e-commerce user growth.
  • Contributing to the implementation of product and technical solutions for user growth engines, such as personalized push notifications/emails, recommendation handling, etc., to increase e-commerce DAU and penetration rates.
  • Optimizing algorithms related to recall/sorting for new user recommendations, improving the relevance of traffic source handling and the accuracy and diversity of new user recommendations.
  • Optimizing intelligent marketing algorithms, utilizing uplift models and operations research methods to improve marketing efficiency and drive e-commerce GMV growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience in C++ and Python; at least one of the Big Data tools (e.g. Hive SQL/Spark/MapReduce) and at least one of the Deep Learning tools (e.g. TensorFlow/PyTorch).
  • Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures, with excellent coding skills.
  • Strong learning ability, curiosity, and good communication and teamwork skills.
