Job Title: Head of Accounting APAC

Medison Pharma seeks a seasoned finance professional to lead its accounting operations in the Asia-Pacific region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the accounting framework across APAC, ensuring consistency, scalability, and compliance with corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the accounting framework across APAC, ensuring consistency, scalability, and compliance with corporate standards.
  • Provide accounting & tax compliance support to regional stakeholders.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy in the financial reporting and closing process to allow for insight generation to support strategic decision-making.
  • Define and align regional financial and operational processes with corporate finance leadership.
  • Support APAC and country management in establishing, managing, and reporting on financial flows, ensuring alignment with APAC FP&A, APAC Supply Chain, and corporate guidelines to enhance efficiency in the region.
  • Establish and enforce internal controls frameworks, including expense management and travel policies.
Requirements:
  • Over 7 years of experience in a leading financial role in multinational companies.
  • CPA with a Big 4 firm experience - must.
  • Fluent in English – must – Mandarin and/or Korean - Advantage.
  • Extensive experience with managing statutory reporting requirements in APAC.
  • In-depth/working knowledge of local tax, VAT/GST and CIT requirements and more generally APAC accounting laws, standards and regulations.
  • Experience with Pharma / Biotech companies - advantage.
  • Capacity as a regional APAC finance manager position – must.
  • Acquaintance with NetSuite ERP Systems - Advantage.
