We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Leader to join our team in Singapore. As a Senior Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward activity across multiple account teams, delivering regular insights and analysis, and supporting clients' reputational and strategic objectives.

About the Role

As a Strategic Communications Leader, your primary responsibility will be to lead client accounts and provide high-quality service to our clients. You will work closely with senior executives to develop and implement tailored communications plans, leveraging research, insights, and discussions with clients to create effective narratives and proactive stories that support clients' strategic objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading reputation management and advisory – act as a trusted strategic communications expert for Teneo's multinational client base, utilizing regional geopolitical and/or business analysis to advise clients on opportunities and reputational challenges.
  • Overseeing communications planning and deployment – oversee the development and implementation of integrated communications plans and innovative campaigns, quality-assured content development across diverse formats such as key messages, talking points, speeches, and op-eds, media engagements, etc.
  • Leading communications strategy development and deployment – leveraging research, insights, and discussions with clients to lead the creation of communications strategies, utilizing Teneo's resources, offerings, and expertise across business segments.
  • Account management – lead on account delivery, managing a team of experts to deliver high-quality client servicing and acting as the main point person with the client, actively coaching and mentoring junior team members.
  • Clients management – establish long-term senior relationships by offering valued, strategic counsel and having a track record of retaining clients, proactively managing the client and working to take advantage of opportunities/resolve issues as needed.

You will also be expected to:

  • Build strong relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and seeking organic growth opportunities through new business proposal development;
  • Create advisory notes for client leadership, addressing media narratives, geopolitical risks, and reputational issues, while monitoring media coverage for clients and competitors;
  • Provide support and insight to your client teams, proactively highlighting opportunities, and potential areas of concern;
  • Build a strong network of effective relationships internally and externally;
  • Proactively seek formal and informal learning and development opportunities to support your professional growth and contribute to the sharing of learnings across the wider team;
  • Actively coach and mentor Senior Associates and Vice Presidents on your account teams.
