Job Title: Cleanliness Specialist
This role presents an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with potential for growth and development. A cleanliness specialist will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Maintaining guest rooms, corridors, and service pantries according to established hotel standards.
- Ensuring that mini bars in guest rooms are fully stocked.
- Organizing and replenishing housekeeping carts and linen storage areas on designated floors with linens and amenities.
- Collecting soiled linens from floors and delivering them promptly to the proper department.
- Assisting with placement or removal of furniture, fittings, rollaway beds, and other items from guest rooms as needed.
- Contributing to maintaining a tidy environment by collecting rubbish from floors and disposing of it according to hotel guidelines.
- Accurately and efficiently completing assigned paperwork, including updates on room status and duties.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, such as carpet cleaning requirements or pest infestations, to the Housekeeping Coordinator.
- Handing over lost and found items from guest rooms to the Security Department promptly.
- Monitoring and managing the housekeeping status within the 'Knowcross' system.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Hold primary education or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience working in a hotel is advantageous but not essential.
- Able to communicate and comprehend basic English language skills.
