Auditing ERP Upgrades in Power BI Infrastructure

This role requires a freelance or consulting data engineer with IT technical expertise and PowerBI skills to help assess the migration's impact on our current reporting system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the effects of the Odoo v11 to v17 migration on existing PowerBI infrastructure.
  • Recommend a new PowerBI configuration aligned with updated Odoo database structure and integration logic.
  • Adapt and update data pipelines and dashboarding infrastructure to restore previous reports and ensure data consistency.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the reporting process and recommend future enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in PowerBI development and data pipeline configuration.
  • Experience with Odoo ERP data models and data extraction techniques is highly preferred.
  • Strong skills in SQL, data modeling, ETL, and working with large datasets.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity through system upgrades.
