Healthcare Billing Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and organized Healthcare Billing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our billing department, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of patient billing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Business Office staff and other departments to ensure seamless execution of patient billing activities.
- Capture all required data elements accurately and on a timely basis.
- Verify bills for reasonableness and correct errors discovered on patient accounts.
- Monitor unbilled accounts and update records and databases accordingly.
- Correspond and liaise with patients, third-party payers, and external organizations as needed.
- Assist in training new team members and maintain internal controls.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A minimum of A-Levels or Diploma in any discipline.
