Business Development Director

Job Summary:

The Business Development Director will oversee the operations and strategic direction of our commercial printing division. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing print production workflows, client relationships, and team performance.

  • Leadership & Strategy

The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow our commercial printing business segment. This includes overseeing all aspects of production, logistics, and client delivery. Performance targets and operational goals for printing projects will be set and managed by the Director.

  • Operations & Production Management

The Director will supervise print production lines, including pre-press, press, and finishing operations. Ensuring high-quality standards and deadlines are met is crucial. Optimizing the use of equipment and identifying opportunities for cost savings are also key responsibilities.

  • Client & Project Management

Building strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements, and ensuring satisfaction is essential. The Director will manage key accounts and develop proposals for new business opportunities. Collaboration with the sales and design teams to deliver tailored solutions is also critical.

  • Financial Oversight

Managing budgets, cost control, and pricing for print jobs is a key responsibility. Monitoring P&L for the department and identifying opportunities for cost savings is also necessary.

  • Team Development

Leading, mentoring, and training a team of production staff and supervisors is essential. Fostering a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement is also critical.
