Job Title: Early Childhood Cleaner

Join us in providing a nurturing environment for young children by maintaining the cleanliness of our pre-school centre. We are looking for an efficient and reliable individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Cleaner.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning various areas within the centre, including classrooms, toilets, common areas, office, reception, parents' area, windows, doors, fans, shelves, cabinet, shoe racks, cubbies, children's tables and chairs, dining area, floor rugs, art and craft area, soft covers, and other designated areas. You will also be responsible for clearing rubbish from classrooms/office, washing dishes, maintaining and stocking cleaning supplies, and assisting in the kitchen when needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a childcare setting, demonstrating competence in cooking and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and proper cleaning techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with young children and adapt to their needs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with childcare centre staff.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving around the childcare centre.
