Job Description

MES Support Analysts play a vital role in ensuring seamless Manufacturing Execution System (MES) operation in regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.

We are seeking an experienced MES Support Analyst to enhance our team's expertise. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of deploying, configuring, and supporting MES systems, as well as experience working in GxP-regulated environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Configuring system components, including workstation assignments, printers, weighing scales, and access rights
  • Maintaining and updating specification documents to reflect configuration changes and system enhancements
  • Supporting Plug & Produce (P&P) investigations and design to enable seamless integration between MES and Historian
  • Collaborating with Digital, Automation, MES, SAP, and Global Teams to coordinate issue resolution and system improvements
  • Reviewing and approving technical specifications for MES-related developments
  • Preparing and executing test cases to ensure thorough validation of system changes, upgrades, and new functionalities
  • Developing and optimizing SQL queries to support MES data operations and reporting, and troubleshooting if required
  • Planning and coordinating MES system upgrades, including assessment and rollout of new releases to ensure minimal disruption and compliance with quality standards
  • Providing system operations and troubleshooting support, collaborating with the global support team to resolve technical issues across MES, application services, databases, and connected devices
  • Assisting in monitoring application performance and availability to ensure seamless and uninterrupted operations
  • Supporting user access management in compliance with standard processes and policies

Key Requirements:

  1. Proficient in both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies, ensuring efficient project execution across diverse teams and timelines
  2. Deep expertise in deploying, configuring, and supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  3. Experience working in GxP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments with a solid understanding of industry standards and validation requirements
  4. Experience integrating MES with a wide range of enterprise and automation systems: DCS systems (e.g., Emerson DeltaV), SAP ERP, Data Historian

Technical Skills:

  • Database: MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle
  • IT support processes: Incident management, change management, and service request handling
  • Application Architecture: Solid understanding of application design
