Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MES Systems Manager to join our team at a client site.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing consultation and engineering services during the execution phase of the project.

Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ASPEN product configurations, including interface with SAP and automation systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with MES & ERP problems in recipe execution and authoring.
  • Liaise with QA to provide approved change control documentation for all MES system changes.
  • Design, create, and execute high-quality test and validation protocols, risk assessments, and system documentation.
  • Make required changes to MES & ERP Recipes, worksheets, equipment, and material specs, including phase transition logic.
  • Ensure cleaning, equipment, and product procedures align with MES processes and vice versa.
  • Design and provide training for other site personnel on their related MES roles and arrange system access.
  • Participate in MES knowledge exchanges, governance meetings, and manage identified issues, workarounds, and fixes.
  • Work closely with IT regarding upgrades, patching, hardware support, security, and system access.
  • Liaise with Global MES on required system improvements.
  • Provide support to other MES system users as needed to ensure business continuity.
  • Participate in MES projects from initiation to consider MES system or hardware requirements.
  • Ensure maintenance and replacement of MES hardware, printers, scales, scanners, and bar-code labelers.
  • Keep other MES Team Members informed about MES changes and document activities in line with cGMP requirements.
  • Cross train within the team and train new team members.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs to implement quality, safety, environmental, and production system improvements.
