Job Title: Clinical Advisor - Medication Services

We are seeking a skilled and experienced clinical advisor to join our team in providing expert advice on medication services.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality advice on drug information and clinical matters to healthcare professionals and patients.
  • They will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and safe flows of medication within the organization.
  • The role also involves preparing and administering all Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee matters, as well as analyzing and evaluating data on systems set-up for drug use, drug utilization patterns or adverse drug reaction.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert advice on drug information and clinical matters to healthcare professionals and patients.
  2. Communicate formulary revisions to other healthcare professionals.
  3. Prepare and administer all Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee matters.
  4. Analyze, evaluate and report data on systems set-up for drug use, drug utilization patterns or adverse drug reaction.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide smooth and safe flows of medication.
  6. Participate in drug information/medication safety activities and conduct clinical review for appropriateness of medication orders.
  7. Assist in training of pre-registration pharmacists and pharmacy students.
  8. Dispense medications to patients, explaining the indications for drug therapy and instructions for administration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) from an accredited University recognized by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
  • 2 to 3 years of working experience in a hospital setting is preferable.
  • Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
  • Valid practicing certificate.
