Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the procurement function and drive excellence within our organization.

The Procurement Transformation Lead plays a pivotal role in driving procurement excellence, integrating pharmaceutical expertise with procurement and supply chain strategies to deliver strategic value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize costs and enhance commercial value across the ASEAN region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business priorities, ensuring seamless integration of operations.
  • Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle: needs assessment, supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, inventory management, and timely delivery.
  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers, evaluating their performance to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Mitigate procurement risks and ensure adherence to company policies, local laws, and ethical practices.
  • Promote digital transformation initiatives, including system upgrades and platform deployment.
  • Lead central purchasing functions and maintain accurate inventory management across multiple locations.
  • Assess new drug entries and review institutional drug formularies.
  • Analyze stocktake data and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with clinical teams to streamline end-to-end procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including maintaining Wholesale and Import licenses and adhering to Good Distribution Practice.
  • Comply with MOH and HSA regulations in all procurement activities.

Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement and supply chain.
  • Experience in oncology products or services is an asset.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
