Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and implement cloud infrastructure that supports both internal and external facing services and applications across multiple cloud service providers.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of cloud service providers and best practices around implementation and configuration, preferably managing AWS. They will also be proficient in cloud-native technology and tools, including Kubernetes, containers, and Terraform.

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure to support internal and external facing services and applications
  • Define and implement best practices around Cloud Service Provider configurations and security
  • Work with automation extensively to manage infrastructure on the cloud using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
  • Contribute to both internal and external open source projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • At least 3-5 years of practitioner experience in DevOps/SRE and cloud technologies
  • Proficient in cloud-native technology and tools, including Kubernetes, containers, and Terraform
  • Strong communication ability and willingness to work with a multidisciplinary team
  • Prior experience with software engineering, including the ability to code and test in one or more programming languages
