Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, deploy and manage scalable cloud solutions that meet business requirements. This role demands strong technical knowledge in cloud architecture, automation and system integration, along with the ability to collaborate across teams.

This specialist will be responsible for designing and deploying cloud infrastructure solutions that meet scalability, security and performance needs. They will also implement and configure cloud services such as virtual machines, containers, serverless functions, networking and storage.

The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and maintaining cloud infrastructure, proficiency in Linux systems and networking, and expertise in deploying and managing Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Implement and configure cloud services: virtual machines, containers, serverless functions, networking and storage.
  • Set up and maintain Elastic Stack for centralized logging, monitoring and analysis.
  • Develop automation scripts and IaC templates using tools like Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
  • Ensure seamless integration between cloud and on-premises systems or multi-cloud environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize cloud infrastructure and application performance.
  • Implement robust cloud security controls and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud operations with a strong background in setting up and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong proficiency in Linux systems and networking.
  • Proven experience with cloud service providers.
  • Expertise in deploying and managing Elastic Stack.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka platforms.
  • Proficiency with automation and IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
