Mental Health Support Specialist

As a Mental Health Support Specialist at Changi General Hospital Pte Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and their families navigate mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities- You will conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs, developing personalized support plans to address their unique circumstances.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, nurses, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for our patients.
- Liaise with external agencies, such as government departments and social services organizations, to secure resources and support for our patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, progress, and outcomes.
- Participate in the onboarding of new staff members, providing valuable insights into best practices and policies.
- Represent the hospital on various committees, advocating for social services and promoting the well-being of our patients.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in mental health support.
- A degree in Social Work or an equivalent qualification, preferably with honors or a master's degree.
- Prior experience in social work or a related field is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in counseling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
