Public Health Innovator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and capable individual to support our daily operations and engagement activities at the TARIPH Centre for Respiratory Research Excellence.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to public health initiatives while building a career in academic or research administration.

Job Description:
  • Support the Centre Manager in overseeing daily functions and ensuring smooth operational workflows.
  • Manage administrative tasks including procurement, office coordination, performance tracking (KPI reporting), and event organisation.
  • Handle the Centre's main communication inbox and ensure prompt, professional responses to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external parties—prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Develop communication materials such as website content, newsletters, and activity reports to support the Centre's visibility and outreach.
  • Liaising with institutional departments and external collaborators to support the implementation of research initiatives.
  • Engage with TARIPH patient partners and coordinate activities for the TARIPH Patient Network.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in academic, healthcare, or research administration is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong interest and relevant skills may also be considered.
  • Experience in event coordination or stakeholder engagement is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Adobe/content design software is advantageous
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail
