Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist

As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the procurement manager with strategic procurement initiatives and generating reports for senior leadership. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to arrange return-to-vendor (RTV) activities and resolve supply chain issues.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure competitive advantage.
- Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing processes using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Source, evaluate, and select suitable vendors through Requests for Quotation (RFQ), bids, and award decisions.
- Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and coordinate with warehouse, production, project, finance, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Education: Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of working experience under direct procurement in precision manufacturing or assembly production environments.
- Skills:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Meticulous with high accuracy in work submitted.
- Strategic thinker with ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve organizational goals.
