Job Title: Site Operations Manager

  • Lead a team of site supervisors to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements. To achieve this, you will work closely with the project lead and collaborate with regulatory authorities and contractors.
  • Report to the project lead, coordinate with regulatory authorities and contractors to provide on-site supervision, resolve site issues, and ensure timely project completion.
  • Be competent in supervising structural works by identifying non-conformities in contractor performance. This involves ensuring that contractors adhere to local requirements, especially BCA's criteria for buildability and safety assurance systems.
  • Appointed person must possess a complete understanding of local requirements, especially BCA's criteria for buildability and safety assurance systems. Ensure that contractors comply with health and safety standards according to MOM regulations.
  • Carry out regular site checks on contractors and ensure compliance with health and safety standards according to MOM regulations. Manage site supervisors regarding C&S engineering works, architectural, and MandE engineering works.
  • Attend site, progress, variation, and coordination meetings. Interpret drawings and contract documents on works to be carried out.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A recognized degree in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for registration with the PE Board, Singapore. Strong understanding of IES/ACES principles is necessary for Resident Engineer Practicing certification.
  • Accreditation with IES/ACES with valid Resident Engineer Practicing certification. Minimum 8 years' experience preferably in steel and precast building construction. Familiarity with local Regulations/Codes for Civil and Structural related to building projects is essential.
  • Must have experience in condominium project management. Ability to supervise and manage site supervisors regarding C&S and Architecture works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site. Strong ability to interpret drawings and contract documents on works to be carried out.
  • Strong team player with experience leading teams of Resident Technical Officers. Must carry out regular site checks on contractors and ensure compliance with health and safety standards according to MOM regulations.
  • Supervise and manage site supervisors with respect to C&S and Architecture Work. Ability to resolve site and technical issues, prepare and document detailed site progress reports.
