System Analysis and Middleware Development Position

We are seeking a skilled system analyst to lead the development of our middleware systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding strategic analysis, developing complex test frameworks, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure efficient system implementation and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements gathering and management across stakeholder groups, validating, documenting, and managing evolving system specifications.
  • Conduct business process analysis, identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement, using modelling techniques to propose optimized workflows.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, data mappings, integration specs (APIs, source-to-target mapping), and user acceptance testing criteria.
  • Oversee design documentation, test plans, functional and non-functional specifications, validating and testing solutions through QA and UAT phases.
  • Act as a technical liaison, aligning IT delivery (developers, architects, QA) with stakeholder expectations and timelines, escalating issues and acting as a primary point of contact.
  • Mentor, train, and lead junior system/business analysts, contributing to staff performance reviews and ongoing development.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, establishing best practices for analysis and documentation standards across the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in systems/business analysis, including a leadership or supervisory position.
  • Experience with Data and C programming skills will be a bonus.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and organizational skills, able to translate technical details into business-friendly language.
