Middleware Engineer Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and stability of middleware platforms. The successful candidate will have expertise in WebSphere, JBoss, WildFly, Tomcat, Apache, and Kafka, as well as experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ITIL service management frameworks, including incident, problem, and change processes. Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Elastic Search, Rundeck, GIT, and cloud services such as AWS and GCP is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure service reliability, availability, and stability across middleware platforms.
  • Provide expert support by resolving incidents, problems, service requests, and managing changes.
  • Collaborate with development, project, and business teams on requirements and deliverables.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation and performance optimization.
  • Analyze production platforms to identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Foster teamwork and strong cross-functional partnerships.
Technical Requirements:
  • Expertise in WebSphere, JBoss, WildFly, Tomcat, Apache, and Kafka.
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.
