Job Overview

The role is a leadership position overseeing and managing project monitoring, reviews, and assurance for the region. This involves ensuring that projects are structured, planned, and delivered in a controlled manner to meet stakeholder expectations and realize program benefits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the oversight and management of project monitoring, reviews, and assurance for the region.
  • Reviewing, appraising, and monitoring project performance for both Regional and Country managed projects, including assessment of benefits, necessity, technical feasibility, and commercial viability.
  • Ensuring timely review of project performance against stakeholder expectations regarding time, scope, and budget.
  • Leading the development of project and change management processes, activities, and methods for the region.
Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in IT projects within the Financial Services industry.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration or project management.

Proven leadership experience in project management, preferably in financial services.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Current Project Management Institute certification or equivalent, or in the process of obtaining one.

Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
