Job Title: Technical Application Specialist

  • Providing technical support for applications is a core part of our team's responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver first-level support for applications, including incident management and issue resolution.
  • Monitor application performance and respond to alerts and service requests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
  • Document support activities, resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 support teams as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Participate in testing, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
  • Provide support during system implementations and deployments.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in application support is required.
  • Strong understanding of IT support processes and incident management is essential.
  • Familiarity with banking and financial services applications is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is necessary.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and provide on-call support as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
