Procurement Specialist

This role is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and delivering materials, equipment, and services in alignment with project requirements.

The Procurement Specialist will ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of goods while meeting quality standards and contributing to overall project success.

  • Strategic Sourcing:
    • Identify, evaluate, and qualify vendors;
    • Maintain the Approved Vendor List;
    • Develop supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery performance.
  • Purchase Order Management:
    • Ensure timely issuance of purchase orders;
    • Monitor procurement lead times;
    • Coordinate with internal teams to align procurement with project schedules.
  • Cost Optimization:
    • Achieve targeted procurement cost savings;
    • Monitor supplier NCR rates;
    • Negotiate best value without compromising quality.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
    • Monitor inventory turnover;
    • Maintain optimal stock levels;
    • Ensure timely replenishment to avoid disruptions.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    • Maintain error-free procurement documentation;
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and audit standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders to align procurement priorities;
    • Participate in project review meetings to provide status updates.
  • Performance Reporting:
    • Maintain a procurement KPI dashboard;
    • Submit monthly reports for review and incentive validation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 8–10 years' procurement experience in EPC, offshore wind, oil & gas, or modular fabrication industries.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of quality standards, HSE compliance, and industry regulations.
