Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to lead our efforts in building and implementing Systems Engineering capabilities to support Reliability in Railway Engineering. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing asset reliability trending and analysis, asset modifications, maintenance process improvements, configuration management, and facilitating the development of Condition Monitoring (CdM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) capabilities.

The key objectives of this position include:

  • Buidling and implementing Systems Engineering capabilities to support Reliability in Railway Engineering.
  • Developing and implementing asset reliability trending and analysis, asset modifications, maintenance process improvements, configuration management, and facilitating the development of CdM and PdM capabilities.
  • SUPPORTING the development of policies to achieve Reliability and Maintainability.
Major Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and collaborating with Line Engineering Departments for Reliability Trending & Analysis to identify improvement and enhancement of Railway System.
  • Leading technical analysis on Asset Modification of Railway System.
  • Supporting Line Engineering Departments on Maintenance Process Improvement for productivity enhancement of Railway System.
  • Supporting Line Engineering Departments on Maintenance Schedule Review for any risk identification of Railway System.
  • Supporting Line Engineering Departments in Significant Railway Defects Investigations.
  • Supporting MEC Section in implementing CdM and PdM of Railway System.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A degree or post-graduate qualification in Science or Engineering.
  • Membership of IE Singapore or other professional institutions.
  • Chartered Engineering in Transportation (Railway) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant Railway Engineering Experience.
  • At least 3 years of leadership and managing skill is an advantage.
