About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive research plans for GaN-based materials growth and device processing technologies.
  • Implement regrowth fabrication processes using highly doped GaN structures to enhance device performance.
  • Supervise the growth of GaN epitaxial structures utilizing MBE and MOCVD growth process technologies.
  • Evaluate the electrical, structural, surface, and optical properties of III-Nitride semiconductor epiwafers.
  • Analyze results, interpret data, and publish findings in high-impact scientific journals.
  • Oversee project timelines and ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare project proposals and technical reports for funding agencies.
  • Mentor PhD students and junior research staff.
Requirements
  • Hold a PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Possess hands-on experience with III-Nitride semiconductor heterostructure growth and characterization, as well as device processing in cleanroom tools.
  • Show strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Be flexible to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent written communication and English language skills are required.
