Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our engineering team and drive the development of innovative solutions.

This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems, as well as managing a team of engineers to ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing medium to large teams.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers to develop broad ICT and digital solutions for training and learning objectives.
  • Oversee support of these systems as required, or handover to sustenance team for continuous support and improvement.
  • Responsible for front-end planning, system design and conceptualisation, development, team leadership, project and stakeholder management, contract management, vendor management, and execution to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A relevant Bachelor Degree in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology.
  • At least 10-15 years in developing ICT or engineering systems, preferably with full software or product lifecycle management experience.
  • At least 5 years' experience in managing medium to large teams.
  • Experience in driving technologies and innovation.
  • Familiarity with the Whole-of-Government environment would be an advantage.
