Special Process Operator Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Special Process Operator. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing thermal spray and/or GEL coating for gas turbine & aero-derivative engine repair.

As a Special Process Operator, your primary duties will include:

  • Performing thermal spray and/or GEL coating tasks according to established work instructions;
  • Following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment;
  • Ensuring product quality and equipment care, meeting production output/pace, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace;
  • Adhering to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions;
  • Carrying out other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:

  • Completion of secondary level or higher education;
  • National Technical Certificate (NTC) or equivalent preferred;
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a related field (on-the-job training will be provided for candidates without relevant experience);
  • Basic command of spoken and written English;
  • Able to perform rotating shifts.
