Are you a skilled software engineer looking for a challenging role that involves designing and building highly available and scalable platforms using AWS services? We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team as a key contributor in developing a Licensing platform that has a direct and positive impact on millions of customers.
This is a unique opportunity to own and build a platform that powers the licensing experience for customers trying, buying, or accessing products and services. As a software engineer in this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining highly available and scalable platforms using AWS services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build highly available and scalable platforms using AWS services.
- Design and build appropriate observability solutions from an operational excellence standpoint.
- Prior experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications, preferably with serverless approaches like AWS Lambda.
- Good knowledge of using Terraform is desired.
- Develop efficient, secure, reusable, and reliable code.
- Apply continuous attention to technical excellence and good design to reduce complexity.
- Write test automation and help deliver frequent incremental releases using CI/CD pipelines.
- Help promote and drive sound engineering design, process, and quality practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Understanding of security best practices and standards around cloud computing and access management.
- Strong communication, and technical writing skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively through agile development processes.
