We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and executing effective sales strategies, and building strong relationships with clients.
- This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in the construction industry and is looking to take on a challenging role that will allow them to use their skills and knowledge to drive business growth.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market research, networking, and other means
- Developing and executing effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing customer relationships
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including architects, consultants, owners, developers, contractors, and sub-contractors
- Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of sales and engineering professionals to meet their individual and team goals
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product, to develop integrated sales campaigns
- Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
- Preparing market reports, periodical sales forecasts, and business presentations as required
- Responsible for company KPIs and contributing to P&L performance
- Meting and reporting on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions
- Proven success in a sales management role, ideally in the construction industry
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities; ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Willingsness to travel for product training, client meetings, site visits, seminars, and tender participation
- Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred)
- Must possess a valid class 3 driving license
