Solutions Consultant, Fund Administration Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Consultant to join our APAC Fund Admin team at Carta. As a Solutions Consultant, you will collaborate with the Go-To-Market team in their sales process with investment firms to identify and build the best solution for the customer.
About the JobYou will partner closely with the Fund Administration and Product team to be an expert on our product and service offerings. You will work with new venture capital funds as they navigate the process of forming a new fund, advising them on best practices and referring them to additional vendors. You will also work with established and upmarket fund managers, providing consultative advice to help them improve their fund operations and LP communications with Carta's industry-leading technology.
The Skills You'll Need- Impart confidence and gain trust and faith of the prospects in Carta's holistic fund administration solutions.
- Partner closely with all team members of the Fund Admin team (in particular Delivery and Product teams) to lead the technical aspects of sales cycles and partnership conversations.
- Interface (pre sales) with prospects and strategic channel partners to scope requirements and build confidence in Carta's products.
- Provide product and technical financial expertise to drive meaningful progress towards a team quarterly revenue goal.
- Be a key contributor to the Carta product roadmap based on holding in-depth conversations with prospects.
- Provide technical coaching to all members of the Go-To-Market team as needed.
- You are a qualified accountant with 5-10+ years of experience in accounting or another relevant area such as corporate finance.
- A strong understanding of Venture Capital or Private Equity, ideally with regards to back office fund operations and fund administration.
- Proven track record of stakeholder management or client relationship management and excellent communication skills.
- You will have an interest in software products built to solve technical financial problems.
- Experience working in a SAAS customer-facing role or business development role.
- Experience in a Fund Accounting / Fund Administration role.
