Trade Support Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Trade Support Engineer to join our team. As a Trade Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our trading systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for our trading systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to software deployment, configuration processes, and proactive monitoring.
  • Maintain the health and availability of our world-class trading ecosystem, with a focus on minimizing downtime and quick recovery from incidents.
  • Respond to support requests from traders and software engineers, liaise with external trading partners to resolve technical problems, and collaborate with various teams to ensure continuity and consistency of support.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience working in the financial industry, preferably in a trade support or engineering role.
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field.
  • Proficiency in VCS, particularly Git/Github, and scripting abilities in Python and Bash.
  • Comfortable with SQL and Linux command-line environments.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in a high-pressure environment.
