Job Title: Software Engineer

Join a team of experts in software development to play a key role in supporting and enhancing manufacturing execution systems.

As a software engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend applications, facilitating knowledge sharing, and ensuring system stability and performance.

  • Build and maintain backend Java applications
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and documentation of standard procedures
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and vendor support, coordinating daily operations
  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and system alerts, supporting troubleshooting in collaboration with teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for system performance, user experience, and operational efficiency, including documentation
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in MES systems support, preferably with SiView
  • Strong Java development skills
  • Proven leadership, especially with vendor or offshore teams
  • Solid understanding of MES processes in manufacturing environments
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in regulated industries

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Strong SQL knowledge, preferably with DB2 and Oracle
  • Familiarity with Git or version control systems
