We are seeking a talented software professional to join our team as a Java Software Developer.

About the Role

This role is a key part of our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) support team. You will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing backend Java applications, ensuring system stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex backend Java applications
  • Foster collaboration between internal teams and vendors, promoting knowledge sharing and documentation of standard operating procedures
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and vendor support, coordinating daily operations and ensuring timely incident resolution
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for system performance, user experience, and operational efficiency, including documentation and process optimization
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in MES systems support, preferably with SiView
  • Strong Java development skills and a solid understanding of MES processes in manufacturing environments
  • Proven leadership abilities, especially in managing vendor or offshore teams
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with experience in regulated industries
