Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Operations Manager to lead our infrastructure operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day work of our infrastructure operations, ensuring events and incidents are responded to in adherence to established processes.

You will institute strong governance to lead and direct the infrastructure operational team, with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflows. Your role will ensure that existing procedures are followed and documented according to guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Exploring new solutions and technologies to integrate learning and recommendations for operational efficiency and continual improvement of the infrastructure.
  • Identifying chronic operational and security issues and ensuring they are managed appropriately.
  • Providing an overview of operational challenges, risks, and opportunities to the leadership team.
  • Managing and escalating roadblocks that may jeopardize operations, infrastructure, and SLAs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, with Patching/Vulnerability management lead experience mandatory.
  • Broad knowledge of infrastructure technologies, trends, and strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills to define risk, identify potential threats, and develop action/mitigation plans.
  • Strong knowledge of Information Systems Security.
  • Working experience in Windows/Linux Operating Systems, Database, Networking, Virtualization, and DWP environments.
