Trainee Technical Superintendent Job Description

This is an entry-level position for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in the maritime industry. You will work under the guidance of experienced technical superintendents, gaining hands-on experience in vessel operations, maintenance management, and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the execution of technical operations in compliance with local and international regulations and charter requirements.
  • Assist in ensuring that all vessel operations comply with safety, environmental, and statutory standards.
  • Plan and schedule vessel PMS tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Verify and validate completed PMS tasks under the guidance of the Technical Superintendent.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

A degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field is required. Experience in maritime operations, vessel maintenance, or a related technical role is also beneficial. Familiarity with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and maritime regulations is essential.
