Embedded Systems Expert

We are seeking an accomplished Embedded Systems Expert to join our team.

  • This individual will be responsible for designing, developing and leading firmware projects from concept to delivery.
  • Richest experience with embedded SoC software development is a must.
  • This person will work closely with architects, software and hardware teams to finalize system-level solutions and modularize firmware development works.
  • Low-level C coding techniques will be utilized when developing codebases, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • This role requires proficiency in reading schematics, utilizing oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, and other test equipment in the development and debugging of firmware designs.
  • Fundamental knowledge about operating systems and common drivers, especially understanding basics of RTOS, is required.
  • Familiarity with inter-chip communications in heterogeneous processor environments and ability to use OpenAMP or RPC techniques is essential.
  • Understanding of storage devices/controllers (i.e. SAS, SATA etc.) driver, protocols and firmware design is a plus.
  • Experience with power management at system level and OS power management handling is a plus, especially familiarity with PMIC firmware.
  • Understanding of virtualization techniques on server environment is a plus.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience in embedded systems.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in implementing embedded operating systems such as Linux, FreeRTOS on target hardware.
  • Demonstrated expertise in C/C++/assembly language programming.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Familiarity with RISC-V/ARM ISA is a plus.
  • Excellent team player and prioritization skills with delivery of modulated development work.
