Quality Control Specialist

The role of a Quality Control Specialist plays a pivotal part in ensuring the excellence of precision-manufactured products.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit first article samples for approval purposes.
- Develop packaging specifications in accordance with industry standards.
- Create inspection plans for products to ensure quality control measures are implemented effectively.
- Support inspection processes for in-process, incoming, and outgoing parts to guarantee consistency.
- Train inspectors and operators on quality check points and measurement methods to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with Production, Toolroom, and Suppliers to address quality-related issues promptly.
- Ensure all documents and records comply with ISO quality standards to maintain credibility.
- Assist Engineers as needed to provide technical support.
- Manage and maintain all measuring and testing equipment to optimize performance.
- Compile data for reports to help Engineers or Managers make informed decisions.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in quality control or related fields.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings effectively.
- Good reporting and administrative skills to maintain accurate records.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Experience with OGP Smartscope, CMM, or other measuring tools to enhance efficiency.
