Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment plants.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering or environmental engineering, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in water treatment plant operations. You will be expected to work independently, with a high level of initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring process parameters and adjusting equipment as necessary to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Managing plant logistics, including scheduling maintenance and repairs.
  • Working closely with maintenance teams to ensure that equipment is properly maintained.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting issues on biological (anaerobic/aerobic/MBR process) and mechanical processes.
  • Maintaining records and reports, including shift reports and SOPs.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Developing and implementing Agreed Operating Procedures (AOPs) for customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in water treatment plant operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
