Job Title: Nutrition and Food Science Specialist

  • Key Responsibilities:

  1. ">
  2. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in craft and technology rooms, workshops, design and art studios, and kitchen labs.">
  3. Conduct thorough cleaning and organization of the aforementioned areas termly.">
  4. Assist with daily food preparation tasks to ensure smooth lesson delivery.">
  5. Work with teachers to prepare food ingredients and necessary equipment for practical sessions.">
  6. Monitor stock levels of food ingredients and alert teachers when replenishment is required.">
  7. Maintain high levels of hygiene standards during food preparation.">
  8. Support staff engagement committee in preparing meals, snacks, and packing staff welfare items.">
  9. Manage inventory of food ingredients and ensure proper storage.">
  10. Clean and disinfect kitchen labs at the end of each day.">
  11. Ensure safety compliance within kitchen labs and operating basic kitchen equipment.">
  12. Perform washing of aprons and school tablecloths as required.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role or related field.">
  • Degree in nutrition, food science, or a related field.">
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.">
