Food Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cook Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure efficient daily operations.
">Responsibilities:
- Assist the main cook in food preparation (e.g., washing, cutting, marinating)
- Prepare ingredients for dishes such as
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Set up workstations and ensure stock levels are sufficient for daily operations
- Assist in plating and packaging takeaway orders
- Operate and manage the Point-of-Sale (POS) system for taking orders and handling cashless payments
- Perform other general kitchen duties as assigned by supervisor
To be successful in this role, you must have relevant working experience as a Kitchen Assistant/Cook. Candidate with experience in Malaysian style cuisine (e.g., Char Kway Teow, Curry Noodles, and Nasi Lemak) is an advantage. You should also be willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
