Pastry Commis Chef Job Description

As a Pastry Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries and desserts. Your key responsibilities will include preparing ingredients, operating cooking equipment, and presenting finished dishes to a high standard.

You will work closely with the senior chef to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. This includes maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained.

In addition to your culinary skills, you will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and working effectively as part of a team.

  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant discipline
  • Knowledgeable in cooking and presentation of food
  • Sugar, chocolate artistry working skills highly desired
