As a Therapy Assistant at a Rehab Centre, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process of clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of physiotherapy and occupational therapy principles and practices.

  • The successful candidate will carry out daily tasks as assigned by the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.
  • They will be responsible for attending to clients' needs, assisting in lifting and transferring clients where necessary, and reporting any abnormalities present in the clients.
  • The Therapy Assistant will also record and document the therapy sessions performed by the clients on a daily basis and ensure proper handling of rehabilitative equipment.
  • In addition, they will be responsible for maintaining rehabilitative equipment, reporting any faults to the Operation Executive and Physiotherapist, and ensuring a safe environment for clients to perform therapies.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, the candidate must possess:

  • A minimum WSQ certificate in Therapy Services or NITEC in Therapy Services or equivalent.
  • Minimum 0-1 year of related experience as training provided.
  • BCLS+AED certification would be advantageous.
