Senior Counter-Unmanned Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and driven engineer to lead the solutioning, development, and delivery of counter-unmanned autonomous systems (C-UAS) projects.

This role will spearhead a team of engineers to design, integrate, and implement C-UAS solutions tailored to our clients' operational requirements.

The successful candidate will proactively build expertise in the rapidly evolving C-UAS domain and leverage strong industry networks to propose and deliver best-in-class solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers in the design, integration, testing, and deployment of C-UAS solutions.
  • Understand user operational requirements and translate them into technical system solutions.
  • Proactively research and keep abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and threats in the C-UAS landscape.
  • Engage with industry partners, vendors, and technology providers to evaluate new capabilities and solutions.
  • Develop system architectures and technical proposals for C-UAS projects, ensuring optimal balance of performance, cost, and schedule.
  • Drive end-to-end system engineering activities, including requirements analysis, system design, integration, verification, and validation.
  • Manage technical risks and issues, providing timely resolution and mitigation plans.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development for C-UAS capabilities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in defense, aerospace, security, or complex sensor and communication systems.
  • Good understanding and working experience in the C-UAS domain, including relevant technologies such as radar, RF sensors, electro-optical/infrared systems, RF jamming/spoofing, and integrated command-and-control systems.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and delivering complex engineering solutions.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate, and propose technical solutions tailored to operational requirements.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to evolving technologies and operational scenarios.
  • Past military experience especially in UAV and air defence operations preferred.
