This exciting opportunity enables you to work closely with industry partners and develop innovative solutions that optimize lubricating oil consumption onboard ships.Key Responsibilities:Conduct technology reviews of sensor technologiesDevelop algorithms and models for engine health monitoringDesign and develop prototype systems for lubricating oil analysisTest systems in laboratory and real-world settingsReport and present project outcomesEnsure compliance with Work, Safety, and Health RegulationsCoordinate procurement and liaison with vendorsWork independently and collaboratively within a teamRequirements:A degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical and Electronics EngineeringExperience in design and development of engine lubricating oil systems and related control and monitoring systemsProficiency in artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithmsExcellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills
