Job Title: Clinical Support Associate
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Associate to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical services.
About the Role:- Main Responsibilities:
- Support pharmacists in processing medication orders, including preparation, labeling, and distribution of drugs to wards and hospital departments.
- Perform tasks related to billing and inventory management to ensure cost and revenue recovery for all stock supplies.
- Process medication orders for sterile preparations according to USP guidelines.
- Prepare extemporaneous formulations, including antibiotic infusers, eye drops, syringe preparations, and topical creams as prescribed.
- Maintain clean room and equipment sanitation and organization in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Dispense medications under pharmacist supervision and monitor inventory stock levels.
- Receive, unpack, and verify deliveries against documents to ensure accurate receipt of items.
- Manage stock receipts and issues in FEFO order.
- Provide high-quality customer service assistance and support unit dose repackaging production planning.
- Oversee Automated Medication Cabinet topping up and maintain work area cleanliness.
- General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Orientate and train new staff assigned to the section.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to manage operations in assigned sections.
- Encourage continuous improvements to achieve clinical quality and operational excellence.
- Promote organizational objectives and participate in hospital activities.
- Qualifications:
- Degree in Pharmaceutical Science or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Course (CPTC).
- Ability to commit to flexible shifts.
