Scent Regulation Specialist

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in ensuring fragrance products comply with global regulations while facilitating smooth market entry. They should have experience with IFRA, REACH, and international safety standards, as well as the ability to prepare accurate Safety Data Sheets (SDS), manage regulatory submissions, and advise cross-functional teams on compliance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead regulatory compliance for all fragrance products and raw materials according to IFRA Standards, EU REACH, EU Cosmetic Regulation, ASEAN Cosmetic Directive, US regulations, and other applicable laws.
  • Develop and maintain compliance frameworks to support new product development and existing product portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Regulatory Affairs, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of regulatory experience in fragrance, cosmetic, or chemical manufacturing.
  • Advanced knowledge of IFRA Standards, EU REACH, GHS, and other global fragrance regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in SDS authoring software and regulatory databases preferred.
