Senior Compliance Risk Governance Professional

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Risk Governance Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-financial risk management and compliance.

The role involves supporting the Head of CFCR Advisory in discharging ERMF responsibilities, overseeing the CFCR Non-Financial Risk strategy and agenda, and providing leadership and daily oversight for the team. The successful candidate will also be responsible for driving changes within the CIB business to strengthen framework management, including governance frameworks, policies, processes, and control design.

About the Role:

  • Manage Conduct: Develop and implement effective conduct management strategies to minimize compliance and regulatory risk.
  • Manage Risk: Oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of non-financial risks across the organization.
  • Compliance Policies and Standards: Ensure that compliance policies and standards are up-to-date and aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Advisory: Provide expert advice on compliance matters to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Compliance Review and FCC Assurance: Conduct regular compliance reviews and ensure that all aspects of FCC assurance are met.
  • Surveillance (including Screening and Monitoring): Implement effective surveillance programs to detect and prevent financial crime.
  • Investigations: Lead investigations into potential breaches of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Compliance Risk Assessment: Conduct regular compliance risk assessments to identify potential areas of risk.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Build relationships with regulatory bodies to stay informed about changing regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Change: Lead change initiatives to improve compliance and risk management processes.
  • Manage Projects: Manage projects related to compliance and risk management.
