Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Proficiency in Excel/VBA, SAS, SQL, and R is an advantage.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Participate in actuarial audits and advisory work for general insurance clients">
  • Perform certifying actuary work such as reserve valuation and reviews, stress testing, capital adequacy analysis, risk management assessments">
  • Contribute to merger & acquisition and due diligence projects">
  • Build actuarial models to support decision making and analysis">
  • Advise clients on various insurance topics including accounting and regulatory change, claims, pricing or reserving process optimisation, market studies">

Requirements:

We require a bachelor's degree in a numerical discipline such as actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or equivalent.

A keen eye for detail, strong time management skills, and ability to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously are essential.

Pursuing actuarial examinations with internationally recognised actuarial organisations is desirable.
