Actuarial Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Consultant to join our team. As an Actuarial Consultant, you will play a key role in providing innovative business strategies to clients in the insurance industry.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly. A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required, along with knowledge of Excel/VBA, SAS, SQL and R.

You will work closely with a team of actuarial professionals to participate in actuarial audits, advisory work, and other projects. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career in the field of actuarial consulting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in actuarial audits and advisory work for life insurance clients
  • Participate in IFRS 17 related engagements
  • Participate in Participating fund reviews, actuarial internal audits, and other projects
  • Build actuarial models to support decision making and analysis
  • Advise clients on various insurance topics
  • Support business development initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly
  • Knowledge of Excel/VBA, SAS, SQL and R
